Michele Bellantoni, MD, CMD, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Medicine at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. She is the Clinical Director of the Division of Geriatric Medicine and Gerontology, and Medical Director of the Specialty Hospital Programs, at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center and her current research focus is in post-acute care. She directs the Skilled Nursing Facility Collaborative of the Johns Hopkins Community Health Partnership, a consortium of the five skilled nursing facilities totaling 750 beds. She is the PI of a Study of C. Difficile Vaccine in Participants at Risk for C. Difficile Infection. Dr. Bellatoni is a member of the AMDA Board of Directors and the Public Policy Committee.
